SHALLOW POT MAGNETS have significantly stronger pulling power than their "non potted" counterparts.
This additional power is achieved by their ability to simultaneously direct the field of both Magnetic Poles to one face of the magnet.
In the graphic shown above, the North Pole magnetic field is transferred through the steel pot, enabling it to work in conjunction with the South Pole magnetic field.
The combined strength of both magnetic poles deliver an enhanced field to one face of the shallow pot magnet, which results in the provision of a significantly stronger pulling power to that face.
