Ferrite round magnets also know as ceramic magnets were invented in the early to mid 1950’s. Ceramic magnets have quickly became the preferred choice in magnets due to their low cost and their strong resistance to demagnetisation. Ceramic magnets have excellent corrosion resistance and they are very hard and brittle. This makes them difficult to machine or drill. They have a very good temperature tolerance with relative magnetic stability at temperatures of up to 250 Degrees Celsius.
Quantum Magnetics offer ceramic magnets or ferrite magnets in a range of different shapes including block magnets, ring magnets, and shallow pot magnets. Contact us to place an order today.
